PARTNERS IN CHRIST
KNOW HIM AND MAKE HIM KNOWN
Jesus said:
"So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other.
Just as I have loved you, you should love each other.
Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.”
John 13:34-35
All Christians are chosen to share Christ.
All Christians share Christ, as His representatives.
All Christians represent Christ with good motives.
All Christians have very good motives.
But we like Paul's motive the best - to spread the Gospel.
Here's what he said, and we encourage all of us to read, reflect and apply
1Cor 9:19 For though I be free from all men,
yet have I made myself servant unto all,
that I might gain the more.
1Cor 9:20 And unto the Jews I became as a Jew,
that I might gain the Jews;
to them that are under the law, as under the law,
that I might gain them that are under the law;
1Cor 9:21To them that are without law, as without law,
(being not without law to God,
but under the law to Christ,)
that I might gain them that are without law.
1Cor 9:22 To the weak became I as weak,
that I might gain the weak:
I am made all things to all men,
that I might by all means save some.
1Cor 9:23 And this I do for the gospel's sake...
Those who present their own ideas are looking for praise for themselves, but those who seek to honor the one who sent them are good and genuine.
John 7:18
Apostle Paul said, "But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus—the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God." Acts 20:24 (NLT)
