Matthew 12:36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

Zephaniah 2:3 Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD's anger.
 
The Day of the Lord refers to the Second Coming of Jesus. It is the day of Rapture of His Church. The Day of the Lord also refers to the Day of Judgement which comes after the Thousand Year Reign of Christ. All of us, Christians, must know the difference. May our God help us understand His Great Days.
