VICTORY IN JESUS' NAME
to KNOW HIM MORE and to MAKE HIM KNOWN
As followers of Jesus Christ, we have the power for victory over the enemy. Scripture provides us with the knowledge to avoid the tricks of the enemy. We must know what the Scripture says about the Word and the evil one. Here are some references to help us stay alert as we watch for His coming.
Proverbs 30:5 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour
And we know that the Son of God has come, and he has given us understanding so that we can know the true God. And now we live in fellowship with the true God because we live in fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ. He is the only true God, and he is eternal life.
1 John 5:20
We know that God’s children do not make a practice of sinning, for God’s Son holds them securely, and the evil one cannot touch them.

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Romans 8:28
